2015-16 Season
Third-Team NTCA All-American selection… ended her sophomore year with a 202.24 for 62 games which is second best all-time for a true sophomore as well as fourth best all time in the record books for any Bearkat … Named MVP in the season opening event at Tulane with a 214.33 average for the tournament … Earned two other All-Tournament Team selections averaging 219.22 at the FDU Jamboree and 220.60 at the Hawk Flight Invite … Penatzer ended her sophomore year campaign with her second All NTCA Academic honor posting a perfect 4.0 GPA for 4 semesters in a row, as well as her first All NTCA American Honor which is the 9th honor all time for the Bearkats.

2014-15 Season
Penatzer’s freshman year was highlighted by the Music City Classic where she averaged a single season best of 217.60 which helped solidify the Bearkats fourth NCAA National Tournament Appearance in five seasons of competition …  ended her freshman year with a 198.83 for 60 games which is best all-time for a true freshman as well as fifth best all time in the record books for any Bearkat … ended her freshman year with her first All NTCA Academic honor posting a perfect 4.0 GPA for the year, as well as a final four NCAA Championship appearance with the Bearkats in St. Louis Missouri.

Junior Career
Bringing a solid resume of regional and national credentials, Penatzer’s biggest accomplishments before joining the Bearkats include a top 65 finish at the 2014 Junior Gold Youth Championships in Buffalo, New York. This last summer was highlighted once again with new accomplishments as she successfully defended her scratch JBT title at the New Mexico Open where she earned an invite entry to the Sydney Australian Youth Open in May 2017. After becoming the first Bearkat ever to bowl her way on to Team USA in January at team trials, Heather once again against a record setting field of nearly 900 females at this year’s Junior Gold National Championships bowled her way on to Junior Team USA.  As a result of being the number one qualifier going in to match play she solidified a repeat opportunity on Junior Team USA as well as joined a fellow teammate as becoming the first ever Bearkats to make the top 16 final cut.
