With both the Sam Houston baseball and softball teams favored to lead the race for the 2013 Southland Conference titles, interest in season tickets for both teams is at an all-time high.

Season reserved seating for baseball at Don Sanders Stadium in 2013 is priced at $250 per seat. The price includes a $100 donation to the Bearkat Champions Fund (80% tax deductible) and $150 ticket cost.

Season general admission seating and accessible general admission seating both are priced at $180 per seat.

The Bearkat baseball team rolled up a Southland record-tying 24 league victories to earn their first conference regular season title since 1989. Putting together a 40-victory season, Sam Houston ended the year by earning an at-large berth in the Houston regional.

Sam Houston defeated No. 1 seed Rice and reached the finals against College World Series participant Arkansas to equal the program's best NCAA post-season performance ever.

The season ticket package includes seats for the Bearkats' prestigous Tuesday games with Texas A&M, Baylor, Rice and Houston as well as ducats for all weekend series.

Season ticket holders receive priority for postseason baseball including the Southland Conference Tournament in May in Sugar Land and NCAA post season play.

Season ticket renewals are due by Feb. 1. New Season ticket holders may order through Feb. 28. Season ticket holders receive priority in ordering single game tickets Single game and ticket packages on-sale will begin at 10am on Thursday, Feb. 7.

Softball season reserved seats are available for $78.

Sam Houston State, the runner-up in both the 2012 regular season standings and the post-season league tournament, has been picked as the favorite for the 2013 race.

Midweek non-conference opponents include Texas A&M, Purdue, Houston and Texas State. Season ticket packages include all non-conference and Southland weekend series games.

Softball single game and ticket packages on-sale will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7.

The Sam Houston athletic ticket office is located in the Ron Mafrige Field House in the south end zone of Bowers Stadium. Ticket office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
