Played in a pair of games for the Bulldogs ... helped block for a rushing attack that gained 1,394 yards on the ground, led by starting running back Dontel James' 697 yards … blocked for a passing game that produced 2,557 yards through the air.

Garnered All-District 17-6A honors as a junior and a senior under coach Gene Johnson, being an unanimous selection in 2014 ... named to the All-Greater Houston first-team as a senior and a All-Greater Houston Area Top 100 prospect ... was a Houston Touchdown Club All-Preseason team selection prior to his senior year ... helped lead Cypress Ranch High School to the Class 6A state championship game against Allen High School that had an announced crowd of 52,308 at AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys ... team had a 13-3 record in 2014 when it was state runner-up ... also led Cypress Ranch to the state quarterfinals as a sophomore ... was an offensive line captain as a senior ... also threw the shot put for the Cypress Ranch track and field team ... was an honors graduate and member of the National Honor Society ... volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, the Church Food Pantry and at a local elementary schools carnivals.
