Denise Holcomb has returned to the Sam Houston State athletic department to serve as officer supervisor for the Bearkats.

Holcomb served for 15 years in the athletic department as coliseum and football secretary before joining the athletic administration staff. In 2007, she moved to the Lowman Student Center where she served as secretary to the associate vice president for student services.

She has two sons, Ben and Nick, and two daughters, Alexis and Megan. She has five grandchildren - Emily, Katelyn, Cameron, Selah and Rowan.
