Chance Marek was promoted to Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach in August 2016 after serving as a graduate assistant with the strength staff since January 2015.

Mark is in charge of strength and conditioning programs for track and field, softball, women's basketball, tennis, men's and women's golf as well as bowling. He also assists head strength coach Trevor Williams with the implementation of training for football.

Additionally, he assists athletes with nutrition and diet plans while working with each coaching staff to help achieve team and individual goals while also maintaining the program's interns.

Marek, who received his bachelor of science in kinesiology from Sam Houston in August 2014, served as an intern with the Bearkats from August 2013 until July 2014.

Marek also served as strength and conditioning intern with TCU athletics between August 2014 and December 2014. There, he primarily assisted with baseball while also working with football, men's basketball, tennis and swimming & diving. He also supported the strength staff in implementing rehab protocal.
