Following an outstanding career as a member of Texas A&M’s nationally-ranked women’s tennis program, Saska Gavrilovska is beginning her career as a coach at Sam Houston State University.
Listed among the top 100 players in Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s national singles and doubles rankings through out her four-year college career, the Vrsac, Serbia product attained her highest standing as No. 16 in singles and No. 38 in doubles. She posted 28 victories over top 100 players for the Aggies.
Garrilovska earned a berth in the NCAA Division I national singles championships three times (2014, 2015 and 2016), reaching the NCAA round of 16 as a sophomore in 2015. Earning both All-SEC and All-America recognition, she is one of only two Texas A&M women’s tennis players to quality for the national tournament in each of her first three seasons of play. She won academic honors as an ITA Scholar Athlete and Academic All-Southeastern Conference selection.
