Today’s intercollegiate athletic landscape is ever changing and it is imperative that Sam Houston State be in position to not only sustain excellence, but to raise the expectation level and be poised to take advantage of future opportunities.

The reality is that it takes first-class facilities to produce a first-class athletic program. Top-flight training and competition venues are necessary to recruit and develop the best and brightest student-athletes.  These state-of-the-art facilities contribute to student-athletes reaching their competitive potential and provide fans with a superior game day experience. In turn, those fans become more likely to contribute to the program.

They say that the difference between good and exceptional is extra effort. For Bearkat Athletics to reach an elite level it will take the support of our loyal constituents.  These major gifts allow us to build and refurbish athletic facilities, upgrade equipment needed to compete on an elite level and allow for travel to special invitational tournaments. You can make a significant and lasting contribution to the success of Sam Houston State University Athletics through a major gift, scholarship endowment, etc. Together, and only together, can we reach our full potential.
