Sam Houston State women's tennis will hold its fall semester doubles fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 17, at the McAdams Tennis Center on the SHSU campus.

Participants will have the opportunity to play as doubles partners with members of the 2011 Bearkat varsity team.

Two doubles events held last year were great successes and head coach Jim Giachino, assistant coach Peta Taylor and the entire Bearkat women's tennis team appreciate all those who participated.

Sam Houston State will open its 2011-12 schedule later this month with competition in the first of several  fall tournaments. The Bearkats return six letter winners from last year's Southland Conference tournament team.
