Sheridan Currie, Natalie Petaia and Maddie Mortimore won at number two, four and five singles to provide Sam Houston State its points as the Bearkats fell 4-3 to Lamar in the Southland Conference women’s tennis dual match Saturday afternoon  at the McAdams Tennis Center.

The Cardinals took the doubles point with victories in all three pro sets and won at number one, three and six. The number six singles win by Natalia Mayagoitia was the match winner for Lamar.

Sam Houston will play host to McNeese State Sunday at 12 noon.
