Southeastern Louisiana’s Kelsey Salcido received the offensive award while her teammate Alexis Cable earned defensive honors.

Hambleton played every minute of Sam Houston State’s two matches over the weekend, including a double overtime tie against South Dakota State.

Hambleton, who hails from Katy, Texas (Seven Lakes H.S.), faced a total of 44 shots in the two contests, including 27 against the Jackrabbits. She tied her career high for saves in a single game with 12 against South Dakota State while tallying a total of 17 saves on the week.

The next action for Sam Houston State will be on the road at North Texas Friday followed by a home match against Prairie View Sunday at 7 p.m. at Pritchett Field.
