Thirty-five Sam Houston State University student-athletes were recognized as “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges” at a special dinner March 25.

Each year Sam Houston is privileged to submit a roster of outstanding students for inclusion in the current edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.” Selection for Who’s Who is a distinction intended for top-ranking students who have distinguished themselves on the basis of academic performance, citizenship, service to the institution and responsible participation in extracurricular activities.

“Who’s Who” students must be at least a junior currently enrolled in 12 hours with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
