The Bearkat bowlers are back out on the road after a fifth-place finish in last weekend’s Track Kat Klash in Houston.
The Kats head to Milwaukee, Wis.,to take part in the Warhawk Classic this Friday through Sunday at AMF West Lanes in Milwaukee. The event, hosted by Wisconsin-Whitewater will feature 18 teams.
“It is a quick turnaround for us after last week’s tournament in Houston,” said head coach Brad Hagen. “We are able to finish strong on Sunday winning all three matches, so hopefully we can carry that momentum in to this weekend.”
The Bearkats have had fourth and fifth place finishes in the opening two tournaments of the season. Hagen is hoping his squad can put together three solid days of bowling.
“At Tulane, we started well, but faltered on Sunday,” Hagen said. “Last week we struggled on the first two days, but bowled well on Sunday. We are a young team that is still figuring somethings out, but hopefully we can put it all together this weekend.
