Jordan, a senior from Willis, has compiled an overall grade point average of 3.90 on a 4.0 scale as a kinesiology major.
He placed seventh in the Southland Conference outdoor 100 meter dash with a time of 10.55 seconds and participated in the 2012 NCAA West Preliminary meet 100 meters.
Jordan finished among the top three in 100 meters competition at three regular season outdoor meets. He also placed 10th in Southland outdoor long jump competition (23' 7.25") and 20th at NCAA West Preliminary long jump.
The senior won long jump competition at two regular season meets (SFA Dual and SHSU Twilight). In the class room, he was a President's List student with perfect 4.0 GPA during 2012 spring semester and a Dean's List member throughout his Bearkat career.
The Academic All-Southland Conference team is voted upon by the head coaches, sports information directors and academic/counselors from each Southland institution. Student‐athletes must possess a 3.0 cumulative GPA, have completed one full academic year at the nominating institution and participated in at least 50 percent of the team's competition to qualify for the all‐academic squad.
