The pair have both been named as All-Southland Conference selections and were named as 2012 Sam Houston men's golf "Co-Most Valuable Players."
Kelly and Driver join 18 other men's golfers as All-Southland Conference selections. Kelly is a first team honoree and Driver was selected on the second team.
Kelly's award marks his fourth time to be honored as All-Southland Conference. The Kingwood product was a first team selection in 2008, third team in 2009 and second team in 2010.
Kelly tied for seventh at the conference championship. He posted one tournament individual win this season, claiming the Louisiana Tech Squire Creek Invitational in October.
Kelly posted four top-five finishes and another two finishes in the top 10, including the conference tournament. He averaged 73.39 strokes in 33 rounds this year to rank seventh in the Southland Conference in stroke average.
He completes his four-year Bearkat career ranked No. 3 all-time at Sam Houston with a 73.99 stroke average.
Driver ranked ninth in the Southland in stroke average in 2011-12 with a 73.59 mark in 27 rounds. He was the individual medalist champion at the Louisiana-Monroe Invitational and was the runner-up at the Texas State spring tournament in Victoria.
In the final round at Texas State, Driver shot a nine-under 63 for the lowest competitive round in Sam Houston men's golf history.
Kelly and Driver both were recognized as Sam Houston's 2012 men's golf MVPs at the annual Bearkat spring athletic banquet April 23.
