The men’s golf team took 12th place on Tuesday at the Ram Masters hosted by Colorado State.

 

The Kats closed with a final round 295 dropping four spots in the 17-team event.

 

William Holcomb was the top finisher for Sam Houston closing out the tournament in a tie for 22nd after shooting a team high round of 70 on Tuesday. Holcomb’s even-par round included a birdie on No. 1 and a pair of birdies on the back nine.

 

Freshman Grayson Blunt closed out the day with a birdie on No. 18 to finish 38th overall. Noah Steele was 43rd, finishing the tournament at 9-over. Camden DeBonis was 58th and Levi Valadez was 92nd.

 

The Bearkats will be back in action this weekend at the Trinity Forest Invitational hosted by SMU at Trinity Forest Golf Club in Dallas.
