Sam Houston’s women’s tennis match with Texas State scheduled for 11 a.m. today has been rained out. The contest was a rescheduled event following a similar weather problem on the original schedule date.
Both the match versus UT-Arlington Saturday and today’s encounter with Texas State were to be the final non-conference tune-ups for the Bearkat women before beginning Southland Conference action next weekend.
Sam Houston goes on the road for the start of league action playing at Northwestern State in Natchitoches, La., at 2:30 p.m. on Friday and at Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The Bearkats own a 5-2 record so far during the 2018 women’s tennis season.
