The Grove Apartments is partnering with Sam Houston State athletics to seek out enthusiastic students to create a fan environment that raises the energy level for Bearkat basketball at Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum.

Continuing with Saturday's women's and men's basketball doubleheader with Oral Roberts, Student Section D will be the focus of attention. Interested students may begin arriving to fill the section before the doubleheader against Central Arkansas.

Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Women's Tip-Off is at 1:30 p.m.

Once students enter Johnson Coliseum they can swipe their Bearkat OneCard at the top of Section D and receive a free student section t-shirt while supplies last.

Students are encouraged to continue wearing their "swiSH" t-shirts on campus and to all men's and women's basketball games.

Food discounts and other prizes will be offered to those who participate.

"SwiSH" is a concept developed by the on-campus public relations firm, Priority One, which will be used on basketball promo items and social media (#swiSH).

The most enthusiastic fans will also receive a Bearkat Growl Towel. The Taco Bell Power Patrol will be roaming the stadium passing out Growl Towels and other promotional items.

Arrive early to avoid the crowds.
