Texas Farm Bureau, as a corporate partner of Sam Houston State University athletics, has great news for its members.

When the Bearkats play host to Northwestern State in a football game that could decide the 2011 Southland Conference football championship Saturday, Nov. 12, Texas Farm Bureau members will receive a complimentary general admission ticket just by showing a membership card or a recent billing statement.

The offer is a special benefit arranged by Texas Farm Bureau for its membership. The offer is only good for one ticket per member. Proof of membership will be requested at the time of ticket pick up.

Sam Houston State is one of only two unbeaten teams in NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision action this year. The Bearkats are 8-0 and ranked No. 4 in the national poll, the program's highest ranking since 2004.

The Kats lead the Southland Conference with a 5-0 record. Northwestern State is in second place in the league standings. The game will be seen regionally on the Southland TV Network with outlets in three states (Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas). Kickoff Saturday, Nov. 12 is at 3 p.m.

Texas Farm Bureau also will be offering compliementary tickets as member benefits for all week day Bearkat men's basketball games and all Sam Houston State Southland Conference baseball games.
