Women place 9th in San Marcos

The Sam Houston women's track and field team placed ninth at the annual Southland Conference championships in San Marcos Sunday.

Alyssa Dooley and Morgan Davis both finished as runners-up in the 1500 meters and hepthalon, respectively to highlight action for the Bearkat women at the Southland Conference championships in San Marcos

Dooley ran a time of 4:31.94 while Davis totaled 5,149 points.

Jenny Zoch was fourth in the shot put (47' 4.25") and fifth in the hammer (167' 5"). Ambra McCuin placed fourth in the triple jump (47' 4.25"). Shelbie Zotyka was fourth in the pole vault (12' 7.5").
