Junior Career
Bringing a solid resume of regional and national credentials, Penatzer’s biggest accomplishments before joining the Bearkats include a top 65 finish at the 2014 Junior Gold Youth Championships in Buffalo, New York. This last summer was highlighted once again with new accomplishments as she successfully defended her scratch JBT title at the New Mexico Open where she earned an invite entry to the Sydney Australian Youth Open in May 2017. After becoming the first Bearkat ever to bowl her way on to Team USA in January at team trials, Heather once again against a record setting field of nearly 900 females at this year’s Junior Gold National Championships bowled her way on to Junior Team USA.  As a result of being the number one qualifier going in to match play she solidified a repeat opportunity on Junior Team USA as well as joined a fellow teammate as becoming the first ever Bearkats to make the top 16 final cut.
