In the final match of the second round, the Bearkats dropped one spot in the standings at the Prairie View Invitational to fall out of championship contention. 

Leading SFA by 17 pins for the fourth and final spot in the championship bracket, the Kats dropped a match to Tulane to fall to fifth. They will open bracket play against Maryland Eastern Shore. The Kats posted a 6-5 record.

In the individual standings on Saturday, Katelyn Dickerson led the way with a 201 average to place 11th. She was steady throughout, posting three games above 200 and a high of 226.

Lynne Fishler bowled the top game of the day for the Bearkats with a 257.

On Saturday, the Kats posted wins over UMES, Texas Southern and PVU.
