KAPOLEI, Hawaii – After inclement weather suspended the first two rounds, junior Hanna Alberto fired off a 69-stroke round to claim the individual title at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational, Wednesday at Kapolei Golf Course.

The Bearkats finished seventh overall with a combined team score of 296 – just 8-over par. Alberto, who clinched her first individual title of the season, led the field with five birdies – four of which coming in the first five holes.

Jenna Phillips and Kenlie Barrett each wrote down 75 for the day and ended the invitational in a tie for 28th. Barrett gathered four birdies while Phillips tallied three. Tori Gatling (77) was the next highest finisher for the Bearkats in a tie for 36th and Kari Bush rounded out Sam Houston’s efforts shooting 81.
