Hanna Alberto continued her assault on the Sam Houston record book on Tuesday winning the UNF Collegiate for her third victory in her last four tournaments. The win is also the sixth of her career tying the mark set by Shelby Hardy.

 

Alberto shot a closing-round 71 on Tuesday, to win the individual medalist honors by a stroke over Teresa Conroy of North Florida. Alberto and Conroy were the only two golfers to shoot all three rounds under par.

 

As a team, the Kats shot the second-best score of the day, firing a 296 to move up one spot in the standings for a fourth place finish. For the three rounds they were 17-over par, 10 shots behind the hosts North Florida for the tournament title. 

 

Alberto, got her day started with a bogey on No. 3, which was her first hole of the day. After six straight pars, she immediately got herself under par with an eagle on the 313-yard, par 4 10th. She followed that up with a birdie on the 11th to get her to 2-under on the round. Her eagle was one of six shot in the tournament. 

 

Kenlie Barrett was consistent over the three rounds, shooting 73, 74 and 74 to record her fourth top-20 finish of the season, checking in at 18th (5-over, 221). Leah Alberto was 37th (11-over, 227) in just her third tournament of her career. Jenna Phillips and Tori Gatling both finished tied for 60th (15-over, 231).
